HKEX: No Share Capital Changes in May 2026; 25% Public Float Requirement Met

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) reported that its issued share capital remained unchanged in May 2026. The number of ordinary shares in issue stood at 1.27 billion, with no treasury shares held.

The filing confirms: • No share options, warrants, convertible securities, or other agreements resulted in new share issuances during the month. • HKEX continues to meet the Main Board’s minimum public-float threshold of 25% for its ordinary shares.

HKEX also reiterated that it has no authorised share capital or par-value shares in its capital structure. The monthly return was submitted on 2 June 2026 by Company Secretary Timothy Tsang.
