The insurance sector maintained its upward momentum during the afternoon trading session, with China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (CPIC) shares briefly rising more than 6%.
Other major insurers also saw gains, with Ping An Insurance advancing over 4%, while shares of China Life Insurance, New China Life Insurance, and PICC Group collectively moved higher.
