Senior Material (06067) shares rose more than 8% in morning trading, climbing 7.85% as of press time to HK$5.84, with turnover of HK$8.8982 million.

On October 22, Senior Material released an announcement stating that for the first three quarters of 2026, revenue reached approximately RMB 4.492 billion, up 51.85% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately RMB 354 million, up 209.28% year-on-year; basic earnings per share were RMB 0.25.

CICC noted that since the beginning of 2026, the company has acquired a 73% equity stake in Bangci Electronics, entering the piezoelectric ceramics sector. Currently, market share in the piezoelectric ceramics industry is dominated by overseas companies such as Japan's Kyocera. Downstream demand from sectors such as semiconductor MFC and new energy is robust, while overseas piezoelectric ceramics manufacturers have limited capacity expansion due to equipment supply constraints, with delivery lead times now extended to more than six months. Bangci Electronics achieved revenue of RMB 47.49 million and net profit of RMB 16.56 million in 1Q26, with revenue already reaching approximately 60% of its full-year 2025 revenue. The bank expects that amid constrained overseas supply, domestic substitution of piezoelectric ceramics is poised for acceleration.
