EAST BUY's Yu Minhong Addresses Departure of Multiple Live Streamers

Deep News11:41

On April 25, four live streamers from EAST BUY announced their resignations on the same day. Streamer Mingming stated, "After the new leadership took over, the company's overall live streaming model and operational style have completely changed. I find it difficult to agree with this cultural shift. In my daily work, I can clearly feel the unfriendliness from the new management towards me, which has led me into serious anxiety and internal strife."

Yu Minhong responded that he has conducted deep and sincere conversations with the four streamers in an effort to retain them. Simultaneously, he has arranged for the management team to engage in two-way communication, striving to keep core talent. Yu Minhong emphasized that the company fully respects the personal career plans and choices of its streamers. Furthermore, the company will conduct a comprehensive review of its internal management issues following this incident.

Yu Minhong admitted that after the management adjustment, the company's management approach deviated, overemphasizing systematic control while neglecting team humanity and care, which led to problems in the team atmosphere. Subsequently, EAST BUY will optimize its management model, balancing institutionalized operations with humanistic care, and rectify rigid, high-pressure management issues.
