Deep News12:00

On October 13, as of the midday close, Huatai-PineBridge CSI 300 ETF (510300) fell 0.57% to 4.335 yuan, with a turnover of 2.880 billion yuan.

Among its constituent stocks, gainers and losers were mixed. On the upside, Cambricon rose 0.82%, Eoptolink gained 0.66%, and China Merchants Bank added 0.12%. On the downside, CATL led the declines, with Zijin Mining, Zhongji Innolight, and Kweichow Moutai also falling.

Regarding capital flows, market participants noted that based on stock market turnover since September, existing funds have shown weakening trading sentiment, leading to a decline in turnover rates. However, margin financing balances remain relatively stable, and ETFs (exchange-traded funds) continue to see net inflows, with no significant capital outflows observed. At the capital flow level, no major negative factors have been identified so far. As of October 12, Huatai-PineBridge CSI 300 ETF (510300) recorded a single-day net inflow of 603 million yuan, ranking among the top equity ETFs. Its latest listed scale reached 106.956 billion yuan, ranking first among similar products. Data source: WIND.

Guotai Haitong Securities stated that the market has been undergoing continuous adjustment recently. Looking ahead, the market is currently in a consolidation phase of a "transformation bull market." At this stage, the broad market index is neither expected to reach new highs nor new lows, and is anticipated to maintain range-bound trading with a ceiling and a floor for an extended period. On one hand, A-shares fully priced in the industrial narrative in the first half of the year, and there is currently a lack of new large-scale growth narratives and investment stories to drive overall upward revisions in expectations, with the logic entering a "waiting period." On the other hand, incremental capital entering the market has slowed markedly since August, and the market state has temporarily shifted from incremental to stock-game dynamics, meaning the impact of micro-structure on the market will increase. Additionally, "gray rhino" risks such as Federal Reserve rate hikes, inflation conditions, tense international relations, and increasing technology sanctions and trade conflicts will constrain risk appetite in the short term. At the sector level, the current investment focus should be on sectors and individual stocks with "healthy micro-structure" plus "expectations that can be revised upward," with a more balanced and diversified approach, where "small but beautiful" and rotation characteristics are evident.

Zheshang Securities stated that after going through a process of "sharp decline—sharp rebound," the A-share market's selling pressure has been significantly released, and counterattack forces are gradually building. From a technical structure perspective, the main downtrend phase since mid-August may have ended, and even if there is further volatility ahead, it is unlikely to repeat the previous downward slope. Specifically, the Shanghai Composite Index challenged the July 20 low of 3,741 points last week, and this level, together with the "924 rally" high of 3,674 points, is expected to form the mid-line support for the Shanghai Composite in this round. The ChiNext Index hit a low of 2,932 points last week, just touching the 0.5 retracement level of this bull market, and is expected to fluctuate around this level and reconstruct a mid-line bottom. Based on the judgment that "the mid-line bottom is beginning to be reconstructed, maintain confidence and wait for it to take shape," it is recommended that in terms of timing, current mid-line positions should remain restrained, waiting for the mid-line bottom to be reconstructed and formed, and additional allocations should be considered only after the mid-line bottom structure is reconstructed. At the sector level, it is still recommended to select sectors and industries that have experienced larger declines earlier and to appropriately balance allocations, continuing to participate in subsequent market movements with a balanced structure.

Looking ahead, Everbright Securities stated that the core anchor for the market in the fourth quarter will shift from earnings-side surprises to changes in policy expectations, and combined with improvements in the external environment, the lower bound of risk appetite is relatively clear. In terms of allocation, three balanced directions should be noted. First, the policy chain—namely, positioning along key directions of policy support, covering the infrastructure chain, real estate chain, consumption chain, and various sub-sectors. Overall, as one of the first batch of ETF products in China tracking the CSI 300 Index, Huatai-PineBridge CSI 300 ETF (510300) has reached a scale of over 100 billion yuan, ranking first among similar products, with active trading and significant liquidity advantages. The fund is managed by Liu Jun of Huatai-PineBridge Fund, established on May 4, 2012, with a total return of 105% since inception and a total return of 54% over the past decade, both exceeding the CSI 300 Index performance benchmark over the same period.
