Tiger Broker (Singapore) has appointed Ian Leong as its new CEO effective Sept 28 following the departure of former CEO Eng Thiam Choon in June.

Leong is no stranger to Tiger Brokers, having previously served as business development director (retail) between April 2020 and September 2021. He then became the CEO of uSMART Singapore.

Prior to his initial stint at Tiger Brokers, Leong worked at Lim & Tan Securities and Phillip Securities, with a total accumulated track record of 13 years in the financial industry.

With Singapore as a pivotal hub, Leong’s leadership will be instrumental in driving Tiger Broker’s innovation and growth, says Tiger Brokers Group vice president and co-founder Dong Ming.

“His expertise in navigating the unique opportunities and challenges of the Singaporean and Southeast Asian financial landscapes will be invaluable as we work to solidify our position as a leader in the region and provide our clients with exceptional investment opportunities,” he adds.
