Bank of Ningbo Appoints Fu Wensheng as Deputy President and Wang Yongjie as Chief Compliance Officer

On November 21, Bank of Ningbo announced the resolutions of its 12th meeting of the eighth board of directors. The board approved the proposal to appoint Fu Wensheng as deputy president of the bank, with his appointment taking effect upon regulatory approval.

Additionally, the meeting approved the proposal to appoint Wang Yongjie as the bank’s chief compliance officer, also subject to regulatory approval.

Fu Wensheng, born in August 1972, holds a master's degree and is a senior economist. He currently serves as deputy Party secretary of Bank of Ningbo. His career includes roles such as secretary at Shanghai Bank’s office, assistant to the president and acting president of Fumin Sub-branch, president of Jing’an Sub-branch, deputy president of Bank of Ningbo’s Shanghai branch, and president of its Beijing branch. From November 2011 to September 2012, he served as assistant to the president of Bank of Ningbo, followed by his tenure as deputy president from September 2012 to February 2024. Since January 2024, he has been deputy Party secretary of the bank.

Wang Yongjie, born in October 1972, also holds a master's degree and is a senior economist. He currently serves as deputy president and chief risk officer of Bank of Ningbo. His previous roles include credit officer at Agricultural Bank of China’s Zhongshan Sub-branch in Ningbo, director of Zhongshan Plaza Office at Haishu Sub-branch, deputy president of Lingqiao Sub-branch of Bank of Ningbo, deputy general manager (acting) of the risk management department, and general manager of the personal banking department, concurrently serving as general manager of the credit card center. From November 2011 to September 2012, he was assistant to the president of Bank of Ningbo, and since September 2012, he has served as deputy president. Since September 2024, he has held the additional role of chief risk officer.
