Boe Technology Group Reports Broad TV Panel Price Increases from January to April 2026, Driven by Sporting Event Stockpiling

Deep News06-07

According to data and analysis from consultancy firms, prices for all mainstream-sized TV products experienced a comprehensive increase from January to April 2026. This rise was influenced by factors including stockpiling for major sporting events, cost risk drivers, and the industry's adherence to a "production-on-demand" strategy.

As the stockpiling for sporting events and promotional seasons concluded, prices for mainstream TV sizes stabilized in May. In the IT sector, mainstream-sized Monitor (MNT) panels continued a trend of slight price increases, while Notebook (NB) panel prices remained stable.

Regarding capacity utilization, consultancy data indicates that the industry's utilization rate remained consistently high in March and April. In May, as the industry continued to practice "production-on-demand," the utilization rate is projected to decline to approximately 83%.
