Fibocom Wireless Inc. (300638.SZ) has announced that, to meet its overall strategic development needs, its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Fibocom Investment Development Co., Ltd. ("Fibocom Investment") plans to jointly invest with Shenzhen Kunpeng Zhanyi Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd. and other partners to establish the Shenzhen Qianhai Kunpeng Artificial Intelligence Terminal and Application Industry Private Equity Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), and recently signed the partnership agreement for the fund.

The fund has a scale of RMB 900 million. Fibocom Investment, as a limited partner, will subscribe to contribute RMB 50 million, accounting for 5.56%.

This establishment of an industrial investment fund through a wholly-owned subsidiary together with professional investment institutions, under the premise of ensuring the steady development of the company's main business, leverages the investment experience and capital advantages of professional institutions to further improve the company's industrial layout related to the upstream and downstream of its main business. This is conducive to the company's long-term and steady development and does not harm the interests of the company and its shareholders, especially minority shareholders.
