Ficus Technology Holdings Limited (FICUS TECH) announced the appointment of Mr. Chan Mang Fai as a non-executive director with effect from 5 August 2026.
Mr. Chan, aged 48, holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He brings more than 20 years of experience spanning global investment banking, asset management and digital enterprise architecture. Since February 2026, he has served as a fund manager at Standard Perpetual Global Fund, overseeing capital allocation across Asian and emerging-market projects in industrials, infrastructure, real estate, mining, renewable energy and supply-chain sectors.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Chan spent 14 years (January 2012–January 2026) as an Associate Director at UBS AG, Hong Kong, leading initiatives on banking-system modernisation, risk management and digitalisation. Earlier engagements include participation in government-funded cross-border supply-chain security programmes such as RFID and Electronic Seal Initiatives, as well as the EU FP7-funded CASSANDRA project. He also holds Hong Kong SFC licences for Type 1, Type 4 and Type 9 regulated activities.
Mr. Chan has signed a three-year appointment letter commencing 5 August 2026. The agreement can be terminated by either party with one month’s written notice and is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election in accordance with the company’s Articles and GEM Listing Rules. His annual director’s fee is set at HK$0.18 million, subject to periodic review by the Board and Remuneration Committee.
The company confirmed that Mr. Chan has no directorships in other listed companies over the past three years, holds no positions within the Group, has no relationships with any directors, senior management or substantial shareholders, and has no interests in the company’s shares or related securities. No additional disclosures are required under GEM Listing Rule 17.50(2).
Following this appointment, the Board consists of five executive directors, one non-executive director and three independent non-executive directors.
