Kuaishou Announces New Incentives for Comic Drama Creators: Up to 4% Ad Rebate and $2,800 Cash Reward

To encourage high-quality, diverse, and healthy comic drama content production, Kuaishou has introduced a new incentive policy targeting both institutional producers and individual creators.

For premium dramas premiering simultaneously on Kuaishou and other platforms, institutional producers can receive up to a 4% additional ad rebate and a cash reward of up to 20,000 yuan ($2,800). Meanwhile, individual creators uploading new dramas via native accounts on Kuaishou's short drama operator platform may qualify for cash incentives of up to 10,000 yuan ($1,400).

As of December, Kuaishou's daily comic drama consumption has reached 7 million yuan, with revenue-sharing rapidly growing. Notably, 99% of platform earnings will go to partners.
