Huaneng Power International, Inc. has issued a proxy form for its 2025 second extraordinary general meeting, scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on 23 December 2025 at Conference Room A102, located at the Company’s headquarters in Beijing. Shareholders holding H Shares or Domestic Shares may attend and vote in person or appoint proxies to represent them.
The meeting will address five key proposals. First is the reappointment of the Company’s accounting firms for 2026. In addition, shareholders will review continuing connected transactions for 2026 between the Company and Huaneng Group, as well as transactions between the Company and Tiancheng Leasing for 2026 to 2028. The session will also consider the election of one non-independent Director, Ms. Kou Yaozhou, and one independent Director, Mr. Zhang Xianchong.
According to the proxy form, completed forms alongside relevant authorization documents must be submitted in advance to the designated share registrars no later than 24 hours before the meeting. The results of the voting on these resolutions will be announced following the EGM.
