Sun Hung Kai & Co. repurchases 88,000 shares; total buy-backs under 2026 mandate reach 5.10 million

Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited disclosed on 28 August 2026 that it bought back 88,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day at prices between HK $4.105 and HK $4.125, spending HK $0.36 million in aggregate.

The latest transaction lifts total repurchases executed under the shareholder mandate granted on 27 May 2026 to 5.10 million shares, equivalent to 0.26 % of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date. The mandate permits the company to buy back up to 196.50 million shares; utilisation therefore stands at roughly 2.6 % of the authorised limit.

Including the 88,000 shares acquired on 28 August, Sun Hung Kai & Co. has 0.76 million repurchased shares awaiting formal cancellation. The company’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.96 billion shares as of 28 August 2026.

Under Main Board Rule 10.06, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 27 September 2026.
