Baise Municipal Government Signs AI Cooperation Agreement with China Mobile Guangxi

On December 19, the Baise Municipal Government and China Mobile Communications Group Guangxi Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for an artificial intelligence (AI) cooperation agreement in Baise. Mayor Wang Yongchao and Wang Yiqiu, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of China Mobile Guangxi, attended and witnessed the signing. Li Jianhua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Baise Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, and Zhu Jinliang, Member of the Party Committee, Director, and Deputy General Manager of China Mobile Guangxi, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Under the agreement, the Baise Municipal Government will treat China Mobile Guangxi as a key strategic partner in digital transformation, providing comprehensive support in policies, resources, land use, and electricity supply.

Over the next five years, China Mobile Guangxi plans to invest over 600 million yuan in Baise, designated as a primary strategic cooperation zone, to build high-standard intelligent computing centers and computing power network infrastructure. The initial phase will establish an intelligent computing center with 200P computing power, scalable to 2,000P, focusing on border governance, aluminum industry upgrades, cross-border trade, specialty agriculture, and low-altitude economy. This initiative aims to position Baise as a regional computing power hub in Guangxi for ASEAN markets.

After the signing ceremony, attendees visited the Baise Intelligent Computing Center to review project progress and application scenarios.

Jiang Jinghui, Secretary-General of the Baise Municipal Government, also participated in the event.
