Zhejiang Shibao Company Limited (01057) saw its shares jump more than 12% in early trade, with the stock rising 11.64% to HK$4.365 as of the latest report, on a trading volume of HK$76.09 million.

A newly approved mandatory national standard for autonomous driving, titled "Intelligent Connected Vehicles - Safety Requirements for Autonomous Driving Systems," was officially authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The regulation is set to be fully implemented on July 1, 2026.

This standard applies to M- and N-class vehicles equipped with Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous driving systems, but does not cover automatic parking systems. It establishes a comprehensive safety requirement framework across four key areas: enterprise lifecycle safety assurance, dynamic driving task execution capabilities, human-machine interaction communication, and multi-dimensional inspection and testing. The rule provides a unified safety access baseline for autonomous driving products.
