Effective 28 July 2026, COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (COSCO SHIP INTL) implemented changes to its board and Risk Management Committee. Mr. Ma Xianghui resigned as non-executive director and committee member due to work arrangements, while Mr. Han Jun was appointed to both roles on the same day.
Mr. Ma confirmed no disagreement with the board and no other matters requiring shareholder attention. The board expressed gratitude for his contributions and formally welcomed Mr. Han.
Mr. Han, aged 61, is currently an external director of COSCO SHIPPING (Europe) GmbH. His career spans senior posts across the COSCO SHIPPING group, including chief legal counsel and chief compliance officer of China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, chairman roles at COSCO SHIPPING Logistics entities, and managing director positions at several shipping and energy transportation companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Nautical Science from Dalian Maritime University and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
Under the letter of appointment, Mr. Han will serve from 28 July 2026 until the conclusion of the 2028 annual general meeting, subject to rotation and re-election under the company’s bye-laws. Either party may terminate the agreement with one month’s written notice. His annual basic salary is HK$0.07 million, subject to year-end performance adjustment. Mr. Han holds no shares in the company and has no stated relationships with existing directors, senior management, or major shareholders.
Following this reshuffle, COSCO SHIP INTL’s board consists of six directors: • Mr. Zhu Changyu (Chairman & Managing Director, Executive Director) • Mr. Han Jun (Non-executive Director) • Ms. Zhang Xueyan (Non-executive Director) • Mr. Wang Yong (Executive Director) • Mr. Tsui Yiu Wa, Alec (Independent Non-executive Director) • Mr. Jiang, Simon X. (Independent Non-executive Director)
The company emphasized that no additional information is required to be disclosed under Rule 13.51(2)(h)–(v) of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
