During the event, 14 cities and prefectures across the province will organize over 100 diverse reading activities, including lectures by renowned authors, classic recitations, book purchase benefits, parent-child reading, and rural reading sharing sessions, offering a splendid reading feast to the people of Longyuan.

In recent years, the provincial government has consistently regarded the "Bookish Longyuan" initiative as a key measure to build a strong cultural and tourism province. Efforts have been made to strengthen the public cultural service system, improve reading facilities, enhance the supply of quality content, expand reading platforms, and carry out various activities such as the "Longyun Bookish Season," parent-child reading campaigns, the Lanzhou Book Fair, and the "New Era Rural Reading Season," integrating reading into daily life and nourishing the minds of the people.
