Refined oil prices are set to enter a new adjustment window from 0:00 on August 15. Based on aggregated views from various institutions, fuel prices are expected to see the fifth reduction of the year. So far in 2026, domestic oil prices have undergone 15 adjustments, with a pattern of ten increases, four decreases, and one instance where no change was made. To mitigate the impact from rising international oil prices, the government has implemented control measures on fuel prices for two consecutive rounds. If the expected downward adjustment takes effect, the 2026 adjustment landscape will shift to ten increases, five decreases, and one hold.
On August 14, a total of 27.95 billion yuan in market value from restricted shares will become unlocked. Specifically, three companies will see their lock-up periods expire, with a combined release of 537 million shares. Based on the latest closing prices, the total market value of these unlocked shares is 27.95 billion yuan. In terms of volume, Huaneng Mengdian will release 536 million shares, Bojie Shares 909,100 shares, and Huafeng Testing 47,100 shares. By market value, these unlocks are worth 26.88 billion yuan, 87.6535 million yuan, and 19.5354 million yuan, respectively. As a percentage of total share capital, the unlocking ratios for Huaneng Mengdian, Bojie Shares, and Huafeng Testing are 6.85%, 0.44%, and 0.02%.
On the same day, 16 companies disclosed 17 updates related to stock buybacks. Among them, one company's shareholder proposed a repurchase, three companies disclosed their first buyback plans, one company's plan was approved by a shareholder meeting, five companies reported progress on ongoing buybacks, and six companies completed their repurchase programs. For newly announced plans, Weiguang Shares, Stone Technology, and New Coordinates intend to repurchase up to 80 million yuan, 30 million yuan, and 47,100 yuan, respectively. In terms of actual buyback progress, Yonggui Electric, Guangdian Electric, and Liyuan Information have spent the most, at 109 million yuan, 35.5598 million yuan, and 7.6229 million yuan.
