At a recent event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Dianping 'Must-Eat' list, Meituan Vice President and General Manager of the Dianping Business Unit, Tao Xuexuan, delivered a keynote speech titled 'Illuminating a Better Life with Authentic Glimmers'.
Tao Xuexuan stated that since its launch in 2017, the Must-Eat list has expanded to cover 264 cities and regions globally, featuring 4,279 listed merchants.
"The Must-Eat list is not curated by critics; it is built from the genuine experiences of real diners," Tao Xuexuan emphasized. She highlighted that the core principle of Dianping is "real users recommending to real users," facilitating a platform where users share their life experiences with one another, allowing authentic encounters to solidify into trustworthy consumption guidance.
Tao Xuexuan further stressed that in the AI era, the value of Dianping extends beyond merely helping users find restaurants. Its greater purpose lies in fostering a community built on mutual trust and sincere communication, "enabling the authentic life footprints left by every individual who loves life to become a reliable reference for others' decisions."
