Key Suppliers Selected for CGN's 9GW Photovoltaic Inverter Framework Procurement

Deep News02-14

On February 14th, the selected candidate suppliers for CGN New Energy's 2026 photovoltaic inverter equipment framework procurement were announced. Seven companies have been shortlisted, including Digital China, Zhuzhou Converter Research Institute, Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., TBEA Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Sinexcel Electric Co., Ltd., Sineng Electric Co., Ltd., and Kehua Data Co., Ltd.

According to the tender announcement, the procurement is divided into five lots with a total capacity of 9GW. The required models are all string inverters of 300kW and above (with a backup option of string inverters above 150kW and up to 300kW). The delivery period is scheduled from January 2026 to December 2026, subject to written notification based on actual project requirements. Bidders' delivery schedules must align with the purchaser's timeline.

Bidders were required to participate in all five lots. For equipment of the same model and technical specifications across different lots, the unit price must be consistent; otherwise, the bid will be invalidated. Each lot was evaluated separately, but a single bidder can win a maximum of one lot.

If the same bidder ranks first in two or more lots, the final winner for each lot will be determined based on the lowest total bid amount across all five lots of the framework procurement. Additionally, if a higher-ranked bidder in a lot is not recommended as the primary candidate in that or any other lot, a lower-ranked bidder cannot be recommended as the primary candidate for that lot. Apart from adjustments based on the above principles, other candidate recommendations follow the comprehensive ranking order.
