Photronics (PLAB) shares surged 38.99% during intraday trading on Wednesday, driven by the company's better-than-expected Q4 financial results and optimistic guidance for Q1 2026.
The photomask manufacturer reported Q4 net income of USD 78.621 million and revenue of USD 215.77 million, surpassing analyst estimates of USD 205.22 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at USD 0.60, significantly higher than the consensus estimate of USD 0.45.
For Q1 2026, Photronics projected revenue between USD 217 million and USD 225 million, along with adjusted EPS of USD 0.51-0.59, both above market expectations. The company attributed its strong performance to robust demand in the U.S. market and positive customer forecasts.
