Hanking Gold International Limited (Hanking Gold), through wholly owned subsidiary Primary Gold Pty Ltd, has awarded Metso Australia Pty Ltd a turnkey package covering all crushing and screening equipment for the Mt Bundy Gold Project processing plant.
The package encompasses one HRC™ 2000e high-pressure grinding roll, one Nordberg® C200 primary jaw crusher, two Nordberg® HP800e secondary cone crushers, one AF8-1829MN-18500 apron feeder, four GMF4285-2 sizing screens, one LH2148-1G vibrating grizzly and two LH2.4/3.4x4.8 diverging pan feeders. Metso will supply, pack and deliver the equipment for international sea and road transport, provide full vendor documentation and oversee commissioning and ramp-up.
Delivery is scheduled progressively between March and June 2027 (ex-works), in line with construction milestones for the dry plant EPC contract managed by Delonix Solutions Projects. The aggregate consideration remains within the equipment allowance already embedded in the Delonix contract, leaving previously disclosed dry-plant capex unchanged. The dry plant is slated for completion in late 2027, supporting first gold pour in the first quarter of 2028.
By consolidating the primary and secondary crushers, HPGR, feeders and screens with a single manufacturer, Hanking Gold expects: • One point of technical responsibility, reducing interface risk. • A unified commissioning team for faster, lower-risk ramp-up. • Standardised drives, lubrication systems and wear parts, streamlining maintenance and spares. • Aligned manufacturing and delivery windows across the full circuit.
Metso, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, employs about 18,000 staff across 50 countries and maintains over 20,000 crusher and screen installations worldwide. Its expanded Karratha Service Centre, opened in March 2024, will support local commissioning and ongoing maintenance for Mt Bundy.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Qiu Yumin described the award as “an important de-risking step” for the 5.5 Mtpa plant, noting that equipment costs and delivery timing remain on budget and on schedule. Earthworks, camp installation and ball-mill fabrication (ordered from CITIC Heavy Industries in July 2026) are already underway.
Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Hanking Gold shares.
