On December 11, DEKON AGR (02419) held the inauguration ceremony for its "Million Villages" practical training base in Yibin, Sichuan. This initiative aligns with China's rural revitalization strategy and agricultural modernization transformation, establishing the country's first specialized training platform for hog farming tailored to family farm operators.
Spanning approximately 50 acres, the base integrates talent development, technical demonstration, and industrial empowerment, featuring advanced facilities to support agricultural talent cultivation and provincial development goals. During the event, the "New Farmers Training Joint Initiative" was unveiled, emphasizing collaboration among government, academia, enterprises, and farmers to enhance hog farming industry standards.
According to institutional research, DEKON AGR's November 2025 hog production costs have declined to RMB 11.80/kg, driven by improved operational efficiency and refined cost management. The company aims to further reduce expenses by optimizing weaning costs, feed conversion ratios, survival rates, and operational overheads.
DEKON AGR emphasized that the base adopts a "talent-first, technology-supported, industry-driven" approach, combining theoretical education, hands-on training, and business guidance. As a national agricultural leader, the group will continue advancing modern farming and premium food production through integrated planting-livestock models and its "company + family farm" framework, fostering eco-efficient smart farming and poverty alleviation demonstrations to bridge traditional farming with modern agriculture.
