Provincial Government and China Communications Construction Group Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

The provincial government and China Communications Construction Group (CHINA COMM CONS) have formalized a strategic cooperation agreement in a signing ceremony held in Lanzhou.

The event was attended by Provincial Vice Governor Wang Jun and the group's General Manager Zhang Bingnan.

Gansu province is currently vigorously implementing initiatives to strengthen its foundational capabilities, focusing on accelerating the construction of a modern, integrated three-dimensional transportation network. Efforts are being directed towards enhancing main railway lines, expanding branch networks, upgrading transport hubs, and ensuring the full connectivity of national expressways within the province. With a series of major transportation infrastructure projects set to commence during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the scope for collaboration between the two parties has significantly broadened.

This agreement represents a crucial step taken by both sides based on developmental needs to reinforce strategic alignment. Under the terms of the pact, the parties will deepen communication and coordination, jointly advance key project construction, and continuously expand their areas of cooperation. They will engage in comprehensive collaboration across sectors including transportation infrastructure, integrated urban development, water conservancy and ecological security barriers, and digital infrastructure, collectively contributing to the high-quality economic and social development of Gansu.
