CHINA RES POWER's Subsidiary Power Plants Record 14.9% Rise in Cumulative Electricity Sales for First Four Months

CHINA RES POWER (00836) announced that in April 2026, electricity sales from its subsidiary power plants reached 20.3357 million MWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.9%. Within this total, electricity sales from subsidiary wind farms amounted to 5.0287 million MWh, a decrease of 2.6% year-on-year, primarily impacted by lower wind speeds. Meanwhile, electricity sales from subsidiary photovoltaic power stations reached 1.5792 million MWh, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 46.7%.

For the cumulative period covering the first four months of 2026, total electricity sales from subsidiary power plants reached 80.9731 million MWh, reflecting a 14.9% increase compared to the same period last year. The cumulative electricity sales from subsidiary wind farms for this period were 19.0314 million MWh, a slight decrease of 2.1% year-on-year, again attributed to reduced wind speeds. In contrast, cumulative electricity sales from subsidiary photovoltaic power stations surged to 5.0007 million MWh, achieving a robust year-on-year growth of 45.3%.
