Tesla's stock declined by as much as 4.4% on Tuesday, extending its year-to-date loss to 25% as broader markets fell following a New York Times report indicating Iran had halted negotiations with the United States.
By 11:07 a.m. New York time, Tesla shares had dropped to a low of $337.24.
The stock had closed at $449.72 on December 31.
In contrast, Intel shares advanced after the company announced its participation in Elon Musk's Terafab project.
