ES Services Executes Further Share Buyback; Cumulative Repurchases Reach 17.55 Million Shares Under 2026 Mandate

Bulletin Express10-23

Ever Sunshine Services Group Limited (ES Services) disclosed that it repurchased 600,000 ordinary shares on 23 October 2026 through on-market transactions at prices ranging from HKD 1.60 to HKD 1.62, for a total consideration of HKD 0.97 million. The volume-weighted average price was approximately HKD 1.61 per share.

The repurchased shares, earmarked for cancellation, form part of a series of buybacks conducted since 31 August 2026. Including earlier tranches—primarily blocks of 200,000 shares repurchased almost daily in September and early October—the company now holds 7.80 million shares pending cancellation. This represents about 0.46% of the current issued share capital of 1.71 billion shares.

Under the general mandate approved on 13 May 2026, ES Services is authorised to repurchase up to 171.74 million shares. As of 23 October 2026, the company has repurchased 17.55 million shares, utilising roughly 10.2% of the authorised limit and equating to 1.02% of the share base at the time the mandate was granted.

Following the latest repurchase, the Exchange’s moratorium restricts ES Services from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 22 November 2026. The total issued share count stood unchanged at 1.71 billion on both 22 and 23 October 2026; the share count will decrease once the 7.80 million shares are formally cancelled.

Management confirmed that all repurchases were executed in compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board Rules and relevant regulatory requirements. No treasury shares are held; all repurchased shares are intended for cancellation, underscoring the company’s commitment to capital management through reducing outstanding equity.
