Three companies from Zhanjiang have been included in a public notice for Guangdong Province's first batch of digital economy innovative enterprises, highlighting the city's innovation strength and growth potential in the digital economy sector.
The Guangdong Provincial Government Services and Data Management Bureau released the public notice on October 25. The enterprise database is divided into three cultivation tiers: seed-type, potential gazelle-type, and potential unicorn-type. It serves as a key initiative for the province to identify high-quality market players in the digital economy and build a growth pipeline for digital enterprises.
The three Zhanjiang companies selected cover two categories: potential unicorn-type and seed-type.
Potential Unicorn-Type Enterprise
Quanlian Jicai Aquatic Products (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated on June 18, 2019, at the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center. It is a comprehensive imported aquatic product trading platform jointly initiated by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Aquatic Products Chamber of Commerce and the Zhanjiang Aquatic Products Circulation and Processing Association.
The company is a full-industry-chain enterprise integrating international aquatic product trade, processing, warehousing, logistics, and sales, spanning from industry-finance integration to smart space solutions. Its trade scope covers multiple countries worldwide, with annual trade volume expected to exceed 20 billion yuan.
Positioned as a global digital-intelligent aquatic product service platform, the company offers comprehensive one-stop services including international aquatic product trade, agency procurement, import customs clearance, cold-chain warehousing and logistics, OEM product customization, big data services, food safety supervision, and supply chain finance.
Its main import categories include aquatic products such as white shrimp, fish, and crab; meat products such as beef, mutton, and pork; and poultry such as chicken, duck, and goose, consistently providing customers with high-quality imported products.
Seed-Type Enterprises
Feixing Chuangxiang (Zhanjiang) Drone Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2019. It is a national-level high-tech enterprise, the presiding unit of the Zhanjiang Drone Application Industry Association, and a local enterprise in western Guangdong with comprehensive drone operation qualifications.
The company focuses on the integrated development of the low-altitude economy and artificial intelligence. It holds a full set of civil unmanned aircraft operation qualifications, has obtained official DJI industry distribution authorization, and has established a municipal-level drone industry worker training base.
Zhanjiang Ruifan Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2018, is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the oil and gas sector. Its core technical services include geological reservoir software development, horizontal well geosteering, drilling geological design, elemental mineral reservoir evaluation, and completion fracturing stage optimization.
The three selected companies are respectively engaged in digital aquatic product procurement, drone technology application, and petroleum technology services. Their fields align closely with Zhanjiang's development positioning in the marine economy, port-side industries, and the low-altitude economy, making them typical representatives of the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy in Zhanjiang.
In recent years, Zhanjiang has continued to anchor itself to new tracks in the digital economy, steadily improving its digital industry ecosystem, cultivating local digital innovation entities, and promoting the ongoing penetration and empowerment of the digital economy across various sectors.
