Omdia: Apple Leads Global Tablet Shipments in Q4 2025

According to the latest research report from Omdia, the global tablet market continued its recovery in 2025, with annual shipments increasing by 9.8% year-on-year to reach 162 million units. The holiday season demonstrated the strongest quarterly performance, with shipments in the fourth quarter of 2025 hitting 44 million units, also reflecting a 9.8% growth compared to the same period last year. Central and Eastern Europe emerged as the fastest-growing market in 2025, followed by the Asia-Pacific region. Throughout the year, all regions except North America achieved double-digit growth. Although North America experienced a slight annual decline, promotional activities by manufacturers and retailers during the holiday period helped to mitigate the overall drop. From a vendor perspective, the annual manufacturer rankings for 2025 remained unchanged.
