CHK Oil Issues 87.00 Million New Shares in June; Total Outstanding Shares Rise to 956.35 Million

For the month ended 30 June 2026, CHK Oil Limited (HKEX: 00632) expanded its equity base by issuing 87.00 million new ordinary shares through a placing and subscription exercise priced at HKD 0.21 per share on 18 June 2026. The transaction generated an estimated gross proceed of about HKD 18.27 million.

As a result, the company’s issued share count (excluding treasury shares) increased from 869.35 million to 956.35 million. No treasury shares were held or cancelled during the period.

CHK Oil’s authorised share capital remained unchanged at 100.00 billion ordinary shares with a par value of HKD 0.20 each, representing total authorised capital of HKD 20.00 billion.

The company confirmed that it met the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s minimum public-float requirement of 25% as at 30 June 2026. No movements were reported under share option schemes, warrants, convertibles or other share-issuance arrangements during the month.
