Continental Aerospace: Weiss Asset Management Discloses USD 1.51 Million Derivative Trades Ahead of Proposed Delisting

Continental Aerospace Technologies Holding Limited is moving toward a proposed delisting, and affiliated shareholder Weiss Asset Management LP has reported new dealings in the company’s shares under Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers.

On 18 September 2026, Weiss Asset Management entered two derivative contracts linked to a total of 3.17 million Continental Aerospace reference securities at a uniform reference price of USD 0.4775 per share. The transactions comprised: • 3.00 million shares, valued at USD 1.43 million. • 0.17 million shares, valued at USD 0.08 million.

Combined consideration reached USD 1.51 million. Following the trades, Weiss Asset Management’s resultant balance—including any parties with which it has agreements or understandings—stood at 959.76 million shares.

Weiss Asset Management is classified as a Class (6) associate of the offeree company through its equity holdings and acts on behalf of discretionary investment clients. The firm is ultimately owned by Andrew Murray Weiss.

The Hong Kong Takeovers Executive received the revised disclosure on 24 September 2026, superseding a form submitted on 19 September 2026.
