Recently, a customer reported that after ordering an extra-large latte from Luckin Coffee and selecting the 'no ice' option, the received beverage only barely exceeded half the cup's capacity.
Regarding the no-ice issue, the official customer service for Luckin Coffee Inc. explained that some beverages support the no-ice option, and the final result is subject to the actual preparation at the store. "If a product supports no ice, the barista will not add ice cubes during preparation. The empty capacity in the drink will be filled with the product's main ingredients. Due to the absence of ice dilution, the taste of the no-ice version will be slightly different from that of the regular iced beverage."
Furthermore, detailed explanations are provided in fine print at the bottom of the Luckin Coffee ordering interface. It states that the large cup body capacity is approximately 450ml, the extra-large cup body capacity is approximately 553ml, and the super large cup body capacity is approximately 596ml. Variations exist due to product type, attributes, and manual operation, and "the actual beverage capacity may vary."
