Cerner shares rose 1.35% in premarket trading.
Oracle(NYSE:ORCL)is expected to announced tomorrow that it agreed to purchase Cerner(NASDAQ:CERN)for mid $90s/share, according to a tweet from CNBC's David Faber.
The tweet comes after the WSJ reported last week that Oracle was in advanced discussion to buy Cerner in a deal that may be valued at about $30B. The deal is expected to be Oracle's largest ever.
The deal is expected to be announced today and will value Cerner at about $95/share, according to a WSJ report.
