Success Dragon International Holdings Limited reported that effective 1 August 2026 Executive Director and Chairman Liu Shiwei resigned due to personal business commitments. Liu confirmed no disagreements with the board and no matters requiring shareholder attention.
Executive Director Ding Lei, aged 35, has been appointed Chairman, filling the vacancy created by Liu’s departure and concentrating on operational oversight while Chief Executive Officer Wang Baozhi focuses on macro strategy and external growth.
Ding joined the board on 1 April 2018 and previously served as Chairman and CEO from September 2019 to July 2022. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature from Luoyang Institute of Technology. Professional experience includes roles at Sichuan Trust and several mining companies.
Under his service agreement, Ding receives an annual director’s emolument of HK$1.02 million plus a discretionary bonus. He is the nephew of former Chairman Liu Shiwei and cousin to substantial shareholder Liu Shannon Shuting; no other related-party connections or shareholdings were disclosed.
The board expressed gratitude to Liu for his service and looks forward to Ding’s continued leadership.
