Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO) reported solid financial results for the third quarter of 2024, with revenue increasing 6.1% year-over-year to $558.99 million, surpassing analysts' expectations. The company's strong performance was driven by robust demand for digital out-of-home advertising across its business segments, particularly in the Americas and Europe-North regions.

The company's America segment, which includes its U.S. operations excluding airports, saw revenue rise 5.0% to $292.82 million. This growth was fueled by increased demand for both digital and printed billboards, as well as the deployment of new digital billboards. Digital revenue in the Americas segment surged 8.4% to $105.8 million, reflecting the accelerating shift towards digital advertising.

The Airports segment experienced a 9.0% revenue increase to $82.33 million, led by strong advertising demand at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey airports. Digital revenue in this segment also grew modestly by 0.8% to $42.1 million. In the Europe-North segment, which comprises operations in the UK, the Nordics, and several other northern and central European countries, revenue climbed 11.4% to $166.36 million, or an 8.6% increase when excluding foreign exchange movements. This segment's digital revenue soared 15.4% to $96.7 million, highlighting the region's continued digital transformation.
