Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Convenes 17th Standing Committee Session in Shenyang

The 17th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held in Shenyang on September 21. Zhou Bo, Chairman of the Provincial Committee, presided over the first plenary meeting.

The session runs for one and a half days, with the main agenda focusing on consultative discussions around the theme of "deeply implementing the 'Artificial Intelligence+' action," reviewing and approving the "General Rules for Special Committees of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC," and deliberating on personnel matters.

During the first plenary meeting, ten members and standing committee members delivered speeches on the session's topics. Their proposals included improving top-level design to advance the development of Liaoning's embodied intelligence industry; leveraging AI digital twin technology to construct a new intelligent collaborative scheduling system for Liaoning's port cluster; capitalizing on the advantages of medical-engineering integration to deeply empower AI and establish Liaoning as a highland for innovative high-end medical device industries; reshaping the entire steel production process to set a benchmark for intelligent transformation in Liaoning's metallurgy sector; strengthening the intelligent disaster-prevention network for power transmission to safeguard industrial production and civilian electricity safety; actively addressing AI's "job displacement" effect by accelerating the construction of a support system for employment transition in Liaoning; activating the advantages of university AI disciplines to empower the "chip replacement" upgrade of Liaoning's equipment manufacturing industry; transforming the current "point-based application" of AI to build a new intelligent environmental monitoring and supervision system for Liaoning; deepening the full-chain application of AI to create smart cultural, sports, tourism, and new business scenarios; and accelerating the pace of "intelligent transformation and digital upgrading" to forge new advantages for Liaoning's manufacturing sector through "AI + Industry."

Vice Governor Wang Libo reported on relevant circumstances. Officials from relevant provincial departments, chairpersons of CPPCC committees from various cities and some counties (districts), as well as select provincial CPPCC members and experts, attended the meeting as non-voting participants.
