Meituan's Local Life AI Assistant "Xiao Tuan" Receives Major Update

On the afternoon of July 27, Meituan announced a comprehensive upgrade for its local life AI native assistant, "Xiao Tuan."

Beyond its existing capabilities in search, Q&A, and decision-making support, the new version of "Xiao Tuan" has further enhanced its agency execution abilities. When users submit a request, "Xiao Tuan" can leverage real-time information to assist in completing various local life service operations, such as placing orders, booking rides, and making reservations.

According to official data, "Xiao Tuan's" information service currently covers more than 2,800 cities across China, having completed over 700 million verifications of merchant information and collected more than 1.3 billion user reviews.
