Stock News08-31

5100 XIZANG (01115) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, reporting a substantial increase in profitability. The group recorded revenue of RMB 221 million, representing a 31.2% year-on-year increase, with profit attributable to owners of the company surging 97.2% to RMB 71.375 million. Basic earnings per share stood at 1.28 RMB cents during the period.

According to the company announcement, the first half of 2026 saw a structural recovery in mainland China's consumer market, characterized by cautious spending habits and moderate overall growth. While consumers demonstrated a preference for high cost-performance in daily purchases, demand remained resilient for premium products with scarcity value and gift-oriented consumption, reflecting a coexistence of consumption upgrading and rational purchasing behavior.

The group's water business has continued to solidify its premium and high-quality market positioning, optimizing its product mix and implementing price enhancement strategies. The company has focused on high-value customer segments, introducing family-oriented "Ton Ton" water delivery cards to provide long-term, stable, and convenient home delivery services for Tibet's healthy water products, catering to both health-focused household consumption and gift-giving needs. Revenue from the overall water business segment increased by approximately 9.6% year-on-year.

During the reporting period, the national beer market remained broadly flat, with industry growth logic shifting from scale expansion to structural upgrade. In the Tibet regional market, the competitive landscape remained stable, with established local brands maintaining deep channel barriers. The company has stabilized its existing partnership system and leveraged its flagship product, 5100 Xizang Ice Pure Beer, to achieve breakthroughs. By concentrating resources and making precise strategic deployments in the premium beer segment, the company has steadily increased the market share of the 5100 brand, achieving simultaneous growth in both volume and price. As a result, beer business segment revenue grew by 82.4% compared to the same period last year.
