Autohome announced the launch of its new e-commerce platform, Autohome Mall, alongside the onboarding of 15 leading automotive brands. The move aims to establish a digital car-buying ecosystem. Wang Qiufeng, President of Autohome, stated, "Through innovative business models, we will collaborate with industry partners to drive transformation and set new benchmarks in automotive e-commerce, delivering efficient one-stop services for consumers."
As a core initiative under the company’s "new retail" strategy, Autohome Mall focuses on enhancing user experience with a seamless and trustworthy car-buying journey, embodying its core value of "making great cars easier to buy." The platform integrates upstream and downstream resources, bridging the online-offline loop from browsing and selection to purchase, usage, and trade-ins. All vehicles are sourced directly from official brands, with full platform guarantees covering deposits, transactions, and after-sales warranties—addressing traditional pain points like opaque pricing and transaction processes.
The first wave of brands includes 15 mainstream automakers and emerging players such as Leapmotor, BYD, and Avatr, alongside premium used-car service providers. Yu Le, General Manager of Autohome’s New Retail Business, noted, "Autohome Mall is expanding the boundaries of automotive e-commerce by connecting industry stakeholders to advance digital retail transformation and foster high-quality growth."
Following Haier’s strategic investment in August, Autohome has accelerated its new retail expansion. The launch of Autohome Mall marks its evolution from a content platform to an integrated automotive lifestyle service provider, offering a closed-loop ecosystem spanning "research-purchase-use-trade-in."
