SpaceX Strikes Cloud Computing Deal with Google for $920 Million Monthly

Deep News06-06 03:20

SpaceX and Google have entered into a cloud services agreement. Under this deal, Google has agreed to pay SpaceX $920 million each month from October 2026 through June 2029.

The computational capacity to be provided encompasses approximately 110,000 Nvidia GPUs, along with CPUs, memory, and other associated components.

This related computing power will be scaled up incrementally before September, with the associated fees decreasing accordingly.

Should SpaceX fail to deliver the agreed-upon quantity of GPUs by September 30, 2026, Google has the option, after a one-month grace period, to either terminate the agreement immediately or accept the number of GPUs already delivered and proportionally reduce the monthly fee.

After December 31, 2026, either party may terminate the agreement by providing 90 days' prior notice.

Alphabet will retain ownership and intellectual property rights over its content, artificial intelligence models, and related data.
