Recently, with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Shanxi Provincial Government, the Shanxi Provincial Intellectual Property Office, together with the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization of Shanxi Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").
The "Plan" aims to accelerate the building of a strong intellectual property province for high-quality transformative development, closely focusing on major missions and tasks, fully implementing actions for intellectual property to support transformative development, and comprehensively improving the level of intellectual property creation, utilization, protection, management, and services. It proposes 6 anticipated indicators and five major tasks, and establishes 10 key special projects, including the "High-Value Patent Cultivation Project," "Trademark Brand Value Enhancement Project," "Industrial Intellectual Property Operation Center Construction Project," "Geographical Indication Project for Supporting Regional Characteristic Economic Development," and "Intellectual Property Public Service Enterprise Benefit Project," striving to advance the implementation of Shanxi Province's "15th Five-Year" key intellectual property tasks with a focus on key points and a combination of points and areas.
In the next step, the Shanxi Provincial Intellectual Property Office will fully ensure the detailed implementation of the "Plan," through formulating annual promotion plans, conducting dynamic monitoring of plan implementation, improving the intellectual property work mechanism, ensuring the orderly advancement of plan implementation, and contributing intellectual property strength to striving to write a new chapter in advancing Chinese-style modernization in the land of Sanjin.
