On July 15th, the Huang Xiaoming Tomorrow Love Fund issued a statement regarding the incident involving their "Hand in Hand with Tomorrow" emergency relief operation bound for Chengde, Hebei. The statement confirmed that the vehicle carrying relief supplies was involved in a traffic accident during transport. The project team, in conjunction with the Fosun Foundation and representatives from the supplier COFCO, immediately intervened to handle the situation.
According to the fund's announcement, the accident resulted in injuries to two individuals—the driver and a security escort. Both were promptly taken to a major municipal hospital for treatment. One individual has been discharged home to recuperate following examination and treatment, while the other remains under active medical care. The families of the injured have been notified, and the organizations have committed to covering all subsequent medical expenses and taking full responsibility.
