Lixian County: Smart Agricultural Machinery Paves the Way to Prosperity
Recently, with the coordination of a support working group from the State Administration for Market Regulation, the China Samsung Smart Orchard Construction Project was successfully launched in Lixian County. The project organized a demonstration training session for the China Samsung Technology Smart Orchard Construction Project at Lixian's standardized apple demonstration garden. Experts from the Industrial Development Project Department of the China Foundation for Rural Development and the Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, were invited to participate. This initiative has effectively accelerated the pace of mechanization and intelligent development in Lixian's apple industry.
Experts and technical personnel, taking into account Lixian's mountainous and hilly terrain characteristics and the actual development of the apple industry, delivered specialized lectures on the research background, core technological advantages, and regional adaptability of smart agricultural machinery for mountain apple cultivation. They provided an in-depth analysis of the implementation results and industrial development prospects of the China Samsung Technology new agricultural machinery project. On-site demonstrations showcased the operational processes of various customized smart agricultural equipment suitable for mountainous terrain, including drone plant protection, unmanned transport vehicles, and automatic lifting platforms. These demonstrations comprehensively highlighted the equipment's advantages in efficiency, convenience, quality improvement, and yield increase. Additionally, detailed explanations were given on the operational standards, safety usage guidelines, and daily maintenance techniques for each type of machinery. By combining theoretical instruction with practical, hands-on operation, the training enabled Lixian's fruit growers to intuitively grasp the skills for using the machinery, truly achieving the goals of understanding, learning, and applying the technology.
