CHONGQING M&E postpones 2026 AGM to 25 June; book closure rescheduled to 22–25 June

Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. (CHONGQING M&E) announced a revised timetable for its 2026 annual general meeting (AGM) and related share transfer arrangements.

The AGM, originally slated for Wednesday, 10 June 2026, has been deferred to Thursday, 25 June 2026. Management cited the need for additional time to finalise the meeting circular and to ensure shareholders have adequate time to review the resolutions.

Consequently, the share register closure window has shifted. Instead of the previously announced 5–10 June 2026 period, the register will now be closed from Monday, 22 June 2026 to Thursday, 25 June 2026, inclusive. Shareholders wishing to attend and vote at the AGM must complete share transfer registrations with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Ltd. by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, 19 June 2026.

A circular detailing the new AGM arrangements, notice of meeting and proxy form will be dispatched in accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules and the company’s Articles of Association. All other information disclosed in CHONGQING M&E’s results announcement dated 20 March 2026 and its 2025 annual report issued on 14 April 2026 remains unchanged.

The board is chaired by Executive Director Yue Xiangjun, with a total of ten directors comprising executive, non-executive and independent non-executive members.
