Deep News10-22

The first phase of the 138th China Import and Export Fair has concluded, with the second phase set to begin tomorrow, October 23, and run until the 27th. Driven by the fair, the entry and exit numbers at Guangdong's various ports have increased compared to the same period last year. In Shenzhen, from October 13 to 21, over 47,000 foreign travelers passed through Shenzhen Airport, marking a 25% year-on-year increase. At Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, travelers are continuously passing through customs. During just one hour at noon, several international flights arrived, with foreign travelers accounting for about 40% of the passengers, many of whom are attending the fair. A traveler from Mexico stated, "I came to China from Mexico to participate in the fair, primarily focusing on IP phones, access control devices, intercom systems, and locators." A traveler from Malaysia shared, "This is my first time in China, and I'm here with my family for 12 days. The visa-free policy is very convenient and saves a lot of time. We also plan to visit the fair." It is noted that Shenzhen Airport is the closest open port to the fair within the city, supported by an abundance of international routes and convenient entry policies, making it a popular travel hub for foreign visitors heading to the fair. From October 13 to 21, foreign travelers entering and exiting through this port exceeded 47,000, a 25% increase year-on-year, with daily maximum passenger flow rising by 50% compared to usual levels.
