Jiangsu-Hunan Construction Machinery Industry Collaboration Forum Convenes in Changzhou

Deep News07-23

A collaborative forum for the construction machinery industries of Jiangsu and Hunan provinces was held in Changzhou on July 22. The event was organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Chinese Society of Engineering Machinery, with guidance from the industry and information technology departments of both provinces.

During the forum, twelve major enterprises, including Sany Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Co., Ltd., presented and exchanged information. Strategic cooperation agreements were signed between industry associations from various cities in both provinces and nine companies, covering areas such as whole-machine component supply, joint research and development, and market coordination.

In 2025, the output value of Jiangsu's construction machinery industry chain exceeded 330 billion yuan. The province is home to nearly 350 large-scale whole-machine manufacturers, producing equipment like excavators and cranes, along with key components such as transmissions and hydraulic parts. Hunan is a major domestic hub for the construction machinery industry, with its industrial scale consistently ranking among the nation's top for many years. It hosts several of the world's top 50 whole-machine manufacturers and produces most categories of construction machinery available in China.

Officials from the industry departments of both provinces noted that Jiangsu and Hunan have highly complementary capabilities in core components like hydraulics and transmissions, as well as in new energy supporting systems and precision manufacturing. This creates a natural foundation for synergistic cooperation, combining whole-machine manufacturing with core component supply. Moving forward, both sides will deepen industrial linkages, leveraging Jiangsu's strengths in supporting components and Hunan's whole-machine manufacturing and leading brands to integrate the upstream and downstream supply chain, thereby enhancing the overall competitiveness of the construction machinery industry.
