Madrid basked in warm winter sunlight as Genera 2025, the International Energy and Environment Fair, took place from November 18–20. Over the three-day event, Tongwei introduced its TNC 2.0 high-efficiency solar modules, reinforcing the Iberian Peninsula's low-carbon energy transition with superior photovoltaic solutions.
The arid, light-colored terrain of central and southern Spain offers excellent sunlight conditions with high reflectivity, amplifying the advantages of Tongwei’s TNC 2.0 double-glass modules. Utilizing the latest Poly Tech process and certified by TÜV Rheinland and CGC, these modules achieve a bifaciality rate exceeding 88%, outperforming conventional TOPCon modules by 5–10 percentage points. This breakthrough ensures higher power output and more stable performance under the same sunlight conditions.
Spain’s diverse market demands—dominated by large-scale ground-mounted power plants but with growing distributed and residential applications—pose challenges for traditional modules. Tongwei’s TNC 2.0 G12-66 and G12R-66 modules address these needs with a trifecta of high efficiency, reliability, and profitability, delivering optimal levelized cost of energy (LCOE) with 30W higher power output than mainstream alternatives.
For rooftop and carport installations, the compact yet high-performance TNC 2.0 G12R-48 module combines aesthetic appeal with advanced 908 pad-free technology, ensuring a sleek, uniform surface that seamlessly integrates photovoltaics into architectural designs—transforming them into commercial landmarks or stylish residential additions.
From utility-scale plants to urban rooftops, Tongwei continues to innovate, providing efficient and dependable solar solutions tailored to diverse scenarios, accelerating Spain and Europe’s clean energy transition. With TNC 2.0, high efficiency and reliability reach every sunlit space.
