Beijing Stock Exchange Daily Review: Trading Volume at 22.9 Billion Yuan, Down 2.6 Billion

Today's session on the Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE) concluded with a total trading volume of 22.9 billion yuan, representing a decrease of 2.6 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day.

The majority of stocks on the exchange closed lower. There were no stocks that hit the daily upper price limit (涨停), and similarly, no stocks hit the daily lower price limit (跌停).

At the market close, the Shanghai Composite Index (1A0001) rose by 0.11% to finish at 4,110.81 points. The Shenzhen Component Index (399001) gained 1.24%, closing at 16,051.32 points. The ChiNext Index (399006) advanced by 1.41%, ending the session at 4,251.42 points. The BSE 50 Index (899050) increased by 1.15%, settling at 1,295.95 points.

Combined trading volume across the three major markets (Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing) for the day totaled 3,306.9 billion yuan, which was 159.0 billion yuan lower than the volume recorded in the prior session.

In terms of sector performance, the SMIC Concept (885897), National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Holdings (885893), and Memory Chip (886042) sectors were among the top gainers. Conversely, the Grain Concept (885995), Pork (885573), and Debt Resolution (AMC Concept) (885740) sectors were among the leading decliners.

To reiterate the BSE's performance, total turnover for the exchange was 22.9 billion yuan, marking a contraction of 2.6 billion yuan from the previous day's activity.
