Skyworth released its Environmental, Social and Governance Report 2025, detailing performance across operations in smart household appliances, smart systems technology, new energy and modern services.
Financial & Operational Highlights • FY-2025 revenue reached RMB 70.32 billion. • Global headcount stood at 29,322 across Mainland China, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa. • Total patent applications exceeded 15,000, supported by 22 National High-tech Enterprises and two listed entities.
Environmental Performance • Group-wide energy consumption: 117.18 million kWh, including 9.71 million kWh of self-generated solar power. • Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse-gas emissions: 61,979 tCO₂e, with solar installations covering 60,000 m² at the Shenzhen industrial park. • Non-hazardous waste generation: 3,209 tonnes, of which 3,120 tonnes (97 %) were recycled; hazardous waste: 39 tonnes. • Packaging materials used: 38,376 tonnes, led by paper and cardboard (28,058 tonnes). • A transition plan is phasing out fuel-powered forklifts in favour of electric units; solar PV capacity continues to expand.
Climate Strategy • Scenario analysis conducted under NGFS “Current Policies” and “Net Zero 2050”. • Annual target set to support at least one verified carbon-offset project; 2025 offsets purchased from a UN CDM biomass cogeneration project in Hebei. • ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 systems govern environmental and energy management.
Supply Chain Management • 1,289 suppliers evaluated on sustainability criteria; active base spans 475 Mainland vendors for TV, 589 for set-top boxes and 122 for new energy. • Policies emphasise volume concentration, business integrity and proximity; non-compliant suppliers are subject to removal.
Product Responsibility • Zero safety-related product recalls in reporting year. • 5,631 customer complaints logged across core segments, equating to a 0.04 % overall complaint rate; corrective procedures governed by an 8-hour fast-response mechanism.
Human Capital • Staff turnover rate: 30 %. • Average training hours: 24.74 per employee; 99 % of senior management received training. • One work-related fatality and 74 lost-day injuries recorded; ISO 45001 system implemented.
Community Investment • Domestic initiatives included flood-relief donations in Guangxi and employment support programmes in Shenzhen. • Internationally, continued sponsorship of the Walmart NWA Championship and Benton County charitable programmes.
Governance • Board retains ultimate oversight of ESG; a cross-functional taskforce manages data collection, risk assessment and target setting, supported by external adviser Riskory Consultancy.
