Gold mining stocks experienced a broad rally at the opening bell. As of press time, LINGBAO GOLD (03330) was up 7.70%, trading at HKD 23.22, while CHIFENG GOLD (06693) advanced 6.61% to HKD 38.06.
Other notable movers included 山东黄金 (01787), which climbed 5.71% to HKD 22.94, and 招金矿业 (01818), which rose 5.89% to HKD 24.10. Meanwhile, 紫金矿业 (02899) gained 2.44%, reaching HKD 36.06.
